- warm water300 ml
- active dry yeast7 g (1 tsp)
- sugar1 tbsp
- salt1 tsp
- vegetable oil2 tbsp
- unsalted butter, melted2 tbsp
- optional sesame seeds2 tbsp

Zubereitung
- In a large bowl combine warm water, sugar and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, oil and melted butter to the yeast mixture; stir until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth; cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal balls, flatten each into a disc about 1 cm thick.
- Heat a non‑stick skillet or griddle over medium heat; cook each disc for 2‑3 minutes per side until golden spots appear and the bread is cooked through.
- If desired, brush the hot gurassa with a little extra melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
