- onion, finely chopped1 large

Préparation
- Preheat the oven to 200 °C (390 °F).
- In a pan, sauté the chopped onion in half the oil, add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Lay a sheet of phyllo on a clean surface, brush lightly with oil, and repeat to create a layered base using half of the phyllo sheets.
- Spread the cooked meat mixture evenly over the layered phyllo, then cover with the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each layer with oil.
- Roll the assembled sheet into a long spiral (or fold into a rectangular pie) and place it on a greased baking tray.
- Brush the top with the remaining oil and bake for 45–50 minutes, until the pastry is golden and crisp.
- Allow the burek to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serve warm, optionally with a side of yogurt.
