  1. Roast the peanuts if they are not already roasted, then grind them to a fine, slightly oily meal.
  2. Mash the bananas until smooth and mix them with the brown sugar, salt, and water.
  3. Stir in the ground peanuts and rice flour until a thick, cohesive paste forms.
  4. Soften the banana leaves over a flame or in hot water, then cut them into large wrapping squares.
  5. Divide the paste into portions, wrap each tightly in banana leaves, and tie securely with string.
  6. Place the parcels in a pot, cover with water, and simmer gently for about 2 hours, topping up the water as needed.
  7. Drain the parcels, cool slightly, unwrap, and slice the firm koba to serve.
