Currywurst

• pork bratwurst4
• tomato ketchup200 ml
• curry powder2 tbsp
• Worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
• paprika1 tsp
• onion1 small
• vegetable oil1 tbsp
• sugar1 tsp
• salt1/2 tsp

Modo de preparo

1. Finely chop the onion and soften it in the oil over medium heat until translucent.
2. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, sugar, salt, and 1 tablespoon of the curry powder. Simmer for 8–10 minutes until slightly thickened.
3. Meanwhile, prick the sausages and fry or grill them until browned and cooked through, about 10–12 minutes.
4. Slice the sausages into thick pieces and arrange them on plates.
5. Spoon the warm curry sauce over the sausages and dust generously with the remaining curry powder.
6. Serve immediately, traditionally with fries or a bread roll.
