About Stackplate

Stackplate is a free recipe site for home cooking from every country. Type a dish the way you know it, in any language or script (karnıyarık, 味噌ラーメン, Борщ, ผัดไทย), and get its ingredients, amounts and method. Its ingredients rise out of a pile of food tiles, so you can read the recipe at a glance.

What it does

• Find a dish in any language and get the recipe, with servings you can scale from 1 to 24.
• Read a menu: photograph a menu abroad and every item comes back translated, with pronunciation, a short description, the price and dietary flags.
• What's in my kitchen?: tap or type what you have, or photograph your fridge, and choose breakfast, a main dish, soup, dessert or salad. Each suggestion shows what is still missing.
• World map: the home dishes of every country.
• Weekly plan and shopping list (signed in): plan seven dinners; the list leaves out what your pantry already holds.

Frequently asked questions

Is Stackplate free?

Yes. It works without an account, with a monthly allowance of searches. Stackplate Plus is a paid plan that lifts the monthly limits and adds more photo scans. Opening a recipe link is always free.

Which languages does it support?

English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

How are the recipes written?

Each dish is written once by an AI recipe model, asked for the traditional home version of that dish, then kept and shown to everyone who opens it. Recipes credited to a named cook are that cook's own. Readers can comment on a recipe and report mistakes.

How do I link to a recipe?

Every dish has its own page, for example getstackplate.com/dish/karniyarik, and in other languages getstackplate.com/tr/dish/karniyarik. Browse all countries and ingredients. A guide for AI assistants is at /llms.txt.

Stackplate, dünyanın her ülkesinden ev yemeklerinin tariflerini veren ücretsiz bir sitedir. Yemeğin adını bildiğin gibi, hangi dilde ya da alfabede olursa olsun yaz; malzemeleri, ölçüleri ve yapılışı gelsin.
