Stackplate Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. A site can also keep information in your browser’s local storage. This policy explains how getstackplate.com (“Stackplate”), run by Abdullah Emin Esen, uses cookies and local storage.
2. The cookies we use
Stackplate uses only first-party cookies that the Site needs to work. There are no advertising, marketing, analytics or tracking cookies, and nothing is sent to ad networks or analytics tools.

All of them are HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read them), Secure (sent only over encrypted connections) and SameSite=Lax (not attached to requests from other sites).
3. Local storage

These stay in your browser and are never sent to Stackplate.
4. Third-party content
- YouTube videos: some recipes show a cooking video, loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube sets no tracking cookies before you press play; once you play a video, YouTube may use its own cookies or storage, under Google’s responsibility: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Polar checkout: the payment page you are sent to when buying Plus belongs to Polar and follows its own cookie policy.
- Google sign-in: Google’s sign-in screen belongs to Google and follows Google’s cookie practices.
- Fonts: the Site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google. Google Fonts sets no cookies.
5. Why we don’t ask for consent
Every cookie we use is strictly necessary to provide what you ask for (signing in, the free allowance, secure sign-in), so no separate consent is needed. This relies on KVKK Article 5/2-c, the Turkish Data Protection Authority’s guide on cookies, and the “strictly necessary” exemption in Article 5(3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, they will only be switched on with your explicit consent and this policy will be updated.
6. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Then:
- without
sp_sessionyou are signed out and need to sign in again; - with
sp_oauthblocked, Google sign-in does not work; - without
sp_devyour browser gets a new id, but the per-IP limits that prevent abuse still apply; - without local storage your language and theme go back to the defaults.

1. Çerez nedir?
Çerezler, bir internet sitesini ziyaret ettiğinde tarayıcına kaydedilen küçük metin dosyalarıdır. Benzer şekilde tarayıcının “yerel depolama” (localStorage) alanında da bilgi tutulabilir. Bu politika, Abdullah Emin Esen tarafından işletilen getstackplate.com (“Stackplate”) sitesinin çerezleri ve yerel depolamayı nasıl kullandığını açıklar.
2. Kullandığımız çerezler
Stackplate yalnızca Site’nin çalışması için zorunlu olan birinci taraf çerezleri kullanır. Reklam, pazarlama, analiz veya kullanıcı takibi amaçlı çerez kullanılmaz; üçüncü taraf reklam ağlarına veya analiz araçlarına veri gönderilmez.

4. Üçüncü taraf içerikleri
- YouTube videoları: Bazı tariflerde yemek videosu gösterilir. Videolar, YouTube’un gelişmiş gizlilik modu olan youtube-nocookie.com adresinden yüklenir. Bu modda YouTube, videoyu oynatmadan önce izleme çerezi yerleştirmez; videoyu oynattığında ise YouTube kendi çerezlerini veya yerel depolamasını kullanabilir. Bu işlemler Google’ın sorumluluğundadır: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Polar ödeme sayfası: Plus satın alırken yönlendirildiğin ödeme sayfası Polar’a aittir ve kendi çerez politikasına tabidir.
- Google ile giriş: Google’ın giriş ekranı Google’a aittir ve Google’ın çerez uygulamalarına tabidir.
- Yazı tipleri: Site yazı tipleri Google Fonts üzerinden yüklenir; bu sırada tarayıcın Google’a IP adresini iletir. Google Fonts çerez yerleştirmez.
5. Neden onay istemiyoruz?
Kullandığımız çerezlerin tamamı, talep ettiğin hizmetin (giriş yapma, ücretsiz kullanım hakları, güvenli giriş) sunulabilmesi için zorunludur. Bu nedenle bu çerezler için ayrıca onay alınmaz; bu durum KVKK m.5/2-c ve Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu’nun Çerez Uygulamaları Hakkında Rehberi ile AB’nin e-Gizlilik Direktifi m.5(3) kapsamındaki “kesinlikle gerekli çerezler” istisnasına dayanır. İleride analiz veya pazarlama amaçlı çerez kullanılmaya başlanırsa, bunlar yalnızca açık onayınla etkinleştirilir ve bu politika güncellenir.
6. Çerezleri nasıl kontrol edebilirsin?
Tarayıcının ayarlarından çerezleri ve yerel depolamayı silebilir veya engelleyebilirsin. Bu durumda:
sp_sessionsilinirse oturumun kapanır ve yeniden giriş yapman gerekir;sp_oauthengellenirse Google ile giriş yapılamaz;sp_devsilinirse tarayıcına yeni bir kimlik verilir; ancak kötüye kullanımı önlemek için IP adresine bağlı üst sınırlar ayrıca uygulanmaya devam eder;- Yerel depolama silinirse dil ve tema tercihlerin varsayılana döner.
